Funny I discussed the case more with Zangrandi than with Figueira himself. I told Figueira he had given away victory. He had struck it out of his dictionary on account of the event. He took long to figure out what I was trying to tell him, but seemed to understand. Strange, I always thought these awakenings of consciousness after a highly stressful situation could bring it up automatically, but it didn't seem to have affected Figueira substantially to say the least. Zangrandi could only agree, half conscious, half stunned by everything he had seen and felt during the experience. I told him he shouldn't have gone. It could have created a bad situation for Zangrandi himself, something that could be like a trauma, something that even a primal scream could have a hard time fending off. I think about Arthur Janov and his primal scream theory and what he'd do if he were in my place.
